Tent-to-Tent

Autumn Foliage Base Camp September -October

The leaves will be turning gold and red and there will be a nip in the air. This will be an extra gorgeous time in the mountains. We’ll spend two nights at Bridge Creek and three nights at Cottonwood Camp. We’ll have a cozy tent with a wood stove and lantern for the evenings.

We’ll meet you at the Lady II for the drive to the trailhead. After a four mile hike in we’ll have a relaxing afternoon to get settled into camp.

From Bridge Creek Camp you have choices of; a dandy hike 5 mile up to Buckner Meadows with views of grandiose Buckner Mountain and on up to Park Creek Pass. Goode Ridge is a 5 mile, 5000 foot climb to one of the prettiest old fire look-outs in the Cascades. Flat Creek is an easy 4 mile hike from camp. The North Fork of Bridge Creek is meandering eight miles to a big basin at the base of Mt Logan with its big glacier

The next three days will be at Cottonwood Camp. From here, you will have easy access to many beautiful places; spectacular Horseshoe Basin, Pelton Basin, glorious Cascade Pass and the hard earned but worthwhile trip into Trapper Lake.

The last night we will hike out 10 miles to Stehekin Valley Ranch where showers and a hot dinner will await us.

Please board the Lady Express for the trip to Stehekin. We will meet you, have lunch and then get started up the trail. Hikers: $ 695.00
