water, this 55 mile long, fjord-like lake offers a variety of options
for the beginner to expert kayaker. Our touring kayaks are much more
stable than river kayaks and the rudder system makes learning easy.
Paddling on Lake Chelan offers magnificent views of the North Cascades
and a variety of wildlife. Professional guides who will guide you through
the experience at your own pace. This package is geared toward folks
with all skill levels but do remember that Lake Chelan can become quite
tempestuous at times. We will always error on the side of safety so
if it is windy during the time frame that you must be out on open water
it is at our discretion that we will put you in a more stable double
kayak or even require you to ride in the support boat if safety or
group dynamics require.
If you are ready for a little more adventure, then
sign-up for this trip. We include all of the equipment and food for
your trip. Our experienced guides will accompany you the entire way
ensuring an enjoyable experience. A support boat will also accompany
the trip to provide transport in bad weather. This package includes
round trip boat transportation to Stehekin and back as well.
